Not only has this baby survived 6 days against completely impossible scientific odds, but he made it through one more night and a long tap tap ride to meet the people from Haiti Children's Home who will now take over his care. His young mom went along and will stay with him so she can continue to breastfeed.
As I looked at this baby I was so overwhelmed by God, our Creator, who made us so intricately. He knows the every detail of how are human bodies work and he knows Kerwens' down to every vein running through his tiny hands. This child is so very precious and fragile, but I believe God made him with a fight in his little bity heart that is probably no bigger than then end of my thumb. Every breath he takes is s so astounding as to suggest a miracle.
Look at him in that baby dress, how precious is he? Praying that he will grow into it :)
Please continue to pray that the One who is able to work miracles will do so on this baby.

Caroline, the only thing that comes to mind when seeing the picture of Kerwins in the little dress is what a perfect, precious little angel.
I will continue to pray for him. Prayer is a powerful blessing for each of us. I will also continue to pray for you and this amazing journey you're on, along with the wonderful people you are sharing God's love with.
